The first edition of the Nantong Famous and Excellent Agricultural Products Exhibition kicked off in the Nantong International Conference Center, Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, on Dec 16, local media reported. 

The exhibition featured more than 2,000 kinds of agricultural products by over 170 enterprises.

Apart from agricultural products, the exhibition also showcased new technologies that have been applied to the agricultural industry in Nantong.

For example, Nantong Da’erkang Ecological Agriculture Co Ltd, an agricultural enterprise that specializes in soilless culture technology, presented its three-dimensional orchard planting technique at the exhibition. 

The exhibition organizers had also set up an area to conduct online live streaming that attracted more online visitors to get involved in the event. 

The exhibition is aimed at showcasing the rural revitalization achievements that Nantong has made in recent years, as well as serving as a platform that helps boosts the development of local agricultural enterprises in Nantong.
