Space theme park to debut in Rudong

The first phase of Happy Planet in Xiaoyangkou Resort has recently been completed, according to the resort authorities in Rudong, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province.
The space park, which cost nearly 1.5 billion yuan ($209.07 million), will feature themed blocks, an aerospace education base, a space agriculture base, and a spring sanatorium.
It is expected to receive nearly 1.2 million visitors every year.
Xiaoyangkou Resort has so far established three 3A scenic spots and has been named the best cultural and ecological tourism destination in China.
