Rudong, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province has seen an improvement in its landscapes, local media reported.

Since November 2021, the county has implemented 23 projects to improve its natural landscapes.

All projects have been completed and are now in the maintenance phase.

This year, authorities increased the amount of greenery in the city by 150,000 square meters.

To date, the greening rate in the county stands at 38.91 percent, with the per capita public green areas reaching 18.72 square meters.
