Rudong hosts tech investment promotion event in Shanghai

The Rudong (Shanghai) Science and Technology Investment Promotion Conference took place in Shanghai on July 26. It gathered experts in technological innovation, representatives from tech companies, and members of the Shanghai Rudong Chamber of Commerce. The main focus was on exploring new opportunities for technological advances and industrial growth.
At the conference, Deloitte China's East China government and public services director presented the White Paper on Rudong's Science and Technology Investment Environment, providing a detailed summary of the county's strengths and growth prospects in tech innovation and investment.
A cooperation agreement was signed between Rudong county and Shanghai Securities News. Qi Jieren, the deputy editor-in-chief, highlighted their aim to use strong relationships with capital market stakeholders to act as a bridge among industry, finance, and government. He mentioned their goal to link entrepreneurs, investors, and scientists to foster a dynamic synergy for innovation and development.
Before the main event, a dedicated session on artificial intelligence took place, featuring roadshow presentations from three high-tech projects.
In recent years, Rudong has been actively pursuing an innovation-driven development strategy, promoting strong growth in key emerging sectors such as green energy, life sciences, and advanced materials. By enhancing collaboration with Shanghai, Rudong aims to speed up the process of turning scientific achievements into real-world applications, attract high-quality projects, and ensure resources are allocated to high-potential industries.
