Break station benefits online car-hailing drivers

The first break station for drivers of online car hailing services was put into operation in Tongzhou district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, local media reported.
The break station is located in Jianghai Mingzhu plaza. It provides rest rooms that are equipped with sofas, air conditioners, televisions, water dispensers and refrigerators.
There are also charging piles for electric cars, parking spaces, basketball courts and nucleic acid testing stations located near the break station.
This year, the transport authority of Tongzhou district established a labor union for the online car-hailing industry and 484 drivers involved in the industry in the district have joined the union.
Tongzhou has to date established nine break stations for online car-hailing drivers.
