Tongzhou district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province has established 10 agricultural science education bases to allow more people, especially children, to learn about agriculture, according to local media reports.

Jiangsu Jingrui Agricultural Science and Technology Co Ltd is a comprehensive modern agricultural enterprise specializing in the production, processing and sales of agricultural products.

The demonstration base of agricultural science set up by Jingrui is one of the model science education bases for teenagers in Tongzhou.

The base, which is open once a week, receives nearly 8,000 visitors annually.

This year, a new agricultural science education base was established in Dongping village in Tongzhou. The base consists of two exhibition areas and one practice area.

Deng Yingchun, Party chief of Dongping village, said that interesting activities and exhibitions staged by the base provide opportunities for teenagers to learn more about agriculture.
