A campaign will be launched in Tongzhou district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province to promote award-winning children's songs, local media reported.
The songs featured will be the winning entries of a children’s song creation competition titled China in Children's Voice, which was initiated in Tongzhou in 2016.
The contest has over the last 10 editions received more than 400,000 entries from over 7,000 primary and middle schools across Jiangsu.
Besides children's songs, the competition now also accepts poems, musical plays, and films for children. Among them, 22 high-quality works have been promoted throughout the country.
The contest's organizers have also established a number of bookstores in rural schools and donated more than 30,000 books. This year, more of such bookstores will be established in Nantong.
Preparations for the contest's 11th edition are currently underway in Tongzhou, the organizers said.
