Innovation, entrepreneurship event held in Hai'an

The ninth Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Hai'an was held in the county-level city of Hai'an in Nantong – located in East China's Jiangsu province – on July 16.
Tan Zhen, mayor of the city, addressed the event. He gave a presentation on the city's industrial innovation and its innovative policies. Hai'an, located in the northern area of the Yangtze River Delta region, is an industrial highland with strong competitiveness. It is regarded as a hot spot for innovation and business startups.
Initiated in 2014, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Hai'an has been successfully held nine times. To date, nearly 2,200 industry-university-research cooperation projects have been launched. Four have won national awards for scientific and technological progress and 19 have received provincial-level science and technology awards.
