Cai Xiaoxia, an inheritor of Cai family dough sculpture in Rugao, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has won numerous prizes for her works.
Most of Cai's works are history-based and she specializes in shaping figures.

Cai's dough sculpture is handmade from Rugao flour and glutinous rice flour through dozens of processes, such as steaming, cooling, kneading and pulling.
