Cai Xiaoxia, an inheritor of Cai family dough sculpture in Rugao, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has won numerous prizes for her works.

Most of Cai's works are history-based and she specializes in shaping figures.

In 2018, Cai's work depicting the the British royal family won the golden prize at Cake International 2018 in Birmingham, UK.

Cai's dough sculpture is handmade from Rugao flour and glutinous rice flour through dozens of processes, such as steaming, cooling, kneading and pulling.
