Things are getting back to normal in Nantong city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – in the wake of a notice released by the Nantong epidemic prevention and control office, allowing cultural and tourism sites there to reopen from May 5 and to receive visitors at up to 50 percent of capacity.

The Beishi area of Tangzha ancient town, the Tangzha Impression exhibition hall, the Guangsheng soap making culture experience hall and other venues located in the Tangzha ancient town immediately announced their reopening to the public.

At the entrance of the Beishi area, visitors queued to scan the venue QR code, to show a negative result from a nucleic acid test taken within 72 hours, to have their body temperature measured, before entering the area in an orderly fashion.

In a bid to attract more tourists and better meet their needs, the Tangzha ancient town scenic area recently conducted a raft of sales and marketing promotions.
