Qiang ethnic embroidery exhibition staged in Chongchuan district
An exhibition demonstrating wonderful embroidery from the Qiang ethnic group in Ningqiang county in Northwest China's Shaanxi province kicks off on Dec 1. It is being held in the Chongchuan Library, located in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province, and will run to Jan 31, 2022. Ningqiang Qiang ethnic embroidery was listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage item by the Shaanxi government in December 2015. Ningqiang county, administered by Hanzhong city in Shaanxi province, established a pairing relationship with Chongchuan district in Nantong to help lift it out of poverty.
