Innostar, a bio-tech company based in Linjiang New Area in Haimen district, Nantong, recently became the first company in Haimen to be recognized by the department of science and technology of Jiangsu province as a provincial-level research and development enterprise.

Its "one-stop" highly efficient non-clinical evaluation service platform is currently under construction and has received 10 million yuan ($1.57 million) in subsidies from the province's sci-tech department. Upon completion, the platform will offer technical services that meet international standards.
According to Li Hua, deputy general manager of Innostar, the company has made many sci-tech achievements over the past three years and has submitted 38 patent applications.
The company also has one of the largest experimental animal facilities in China, with complete animal species and comprehensive laboratories.
Since the company was established in 2018, its revenue has increased by nearly 18 times to 180 million yuan this year, Li said.
