The government of Rugao, Nantong signed a cooperation intention agreement in smart logistics with Jungheinrich Lift Truck Shanghai at the fourth China International Import Expo held in Shanghai on Nov 7.

Jungheinrich Lift Truck Shanghai is a subsidiary of German material handling equipment provider Jungheinrich. The company showcased an intelligent lift truck that can lift up to 18 meters high and rotate 360 degrees, stealing the limelight at this year's CIIE.

The Rugao government and Jungheinrich Lift Truck Shanghai reached an agreement to fully use Rugao's industrial advantages and Jungheinrich's advanced production techniques to push forward the intelligent upgrading of Rugao's industrial parks and build a whole-chain closed-loop smart logistics cluster.

In the future, the two sides will detail their cooperation in logistics lift trucks, new energy lift trucks and big data, aiming to build Rugao into a logistics hub that serves the entire Yangtze River Delta region.
