The Jiangsu provincial government announced the winners of the 2021 Jiangsu Governor Quality Awards and the Nomination Awards on Oct 25. Nantong, a prefecture-level city in East China's Jiangsu province, had four companies recognized, ranking first in the province.

Jiangsu Lianfa Textile Co Ltd and China Tianying Inc. (CNTY) – both based in the county-level city of Hai'an in Nantong – respectively won the Jiangsu Governor Quality Award and the Nomination Award of the Jiangsu Governor Quality Award.

Developing out of the Hai'an Dyeing and Weaving Factory founded in 1955, Lianfa Textile has formed a complete industrial chain from cotton processing to apparel manufacturing after over 60 years of development.
