The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently announced the 2021 list of national demonstration platforms providing public services for medium and small-sized enterprises, or SMEs.
A total of 292 platforms passed the examination, 12 of which are located in East China's Jiangsu province. The Hai'an Comprehensive Inspection and Testing Center was the only one located in Nantong, a city in Jiangsu province.
Recognized by MIIT and focusing on mass entrepreneurship and innovation, the national public service demonstration platforms for SMEs are providing public services related to information, technology, start-up business, training, and financing for SMEs based on their demands.
Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the Hai'an Comprehensive Inspection and Testing Center has an area of 6,500 sq m for laboratories and possesses statutory inspection qualifications for machinery, food, electronics, building materials, and more.
In recent years, in addition to the provision of public services for SMEs, the center has also taken the initiative to boost cooperation between industries, universities and colleges, and scientific research institutes, promoting the conversion of scientific and technological achievements into productivity.
Moving forward, Nantong will continue to strengthen the construction of various public service platforms for SMEs, create new service models, enhance service quality, and provide strong support for the transformation and upgrading of SMEs all around the city.
