The anchor stores of the Wulonghui business circle in the Gangzha Economic Development Zone, or GZEDZ, in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, generated a total of 886 million yuan ($137.3 million) in revenue in the first seven months of this year, nearly 1.5 times that in the same period last year.
Since 2011, a slew of high-quality projects such as Decathlon, Wanda Plaza, Ikea, and Sam's Club have been established in the Wulonghui business precinct.
It has become a commercial core area serving the city's sub-center located in northwestern Nantong and even surrounding counties and cities, with its operating income increasing year by year.
