A total of 18 brands made the second list of time-honored brands in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, which was recently released by the city's commerce bureau, local media outlets reported. Let's have a look at the tourism brands on the list! 

Gengsu Theater

Gengsu Theater was founded by Zhang Jian, a famous contemporary industrialist and top scholar in the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). 

It looked like a horseshoe from outside and consisted of an audience hall, a stage and dormitory for performers. The audience hall was divided into two floors and could house 1,200 people. 

Equipped with advance facilities, it ranked as one of the top theaters nationwide then.

Xinyoufei Hotel

The predecessor of the Xinyoufei Hotel was the Youfei Hotel, which was founded by Zhang Jian in 1914. It was the first new-style hotel in Nantong that combined accommodation, catering, and a gym. Through years of development, the new hotel has become a landmark building in the Haohe River scenic area.

Wenfeng Hotel

Wenfeng Hotel is located in downtown Nantong. It has 416 guest rooms and is capable of receiving more than 2,000 diners at the same time.

Xinyuan Group, which is based in Hai'an, one of China's silk production centers, has played a vital role in driving the development of silkworm bases and enterprises in the east-central-west regions. Its silk home textile products boast strong sales in both domestic and overseas markets.
