Hai'an-Lueyang labor exchange yields great results
A total of 104 migrant workers from Lueyang county – located in Northwest China's Shaanxi province – arrived in the county-level city of Hai'an in Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province on March 1, to start their new journey to a better life.
It was the first group of migrant workers from Lueyang county, administered by Hanzhong city in Shaanxi, to arrive in Hai'an in 2021.
This year is the fourth year of a labor exchange between the human resources and social security and employment departments of Hai'an and Lueyang. Over the past four years, the two regions have expanded the program, which has yielded great results.
Nearly 20 leading Hai'an companies provided about 1,000 positions for Lueyang county's workers in the first two years.
The jobs were in production and processing, machine manufacturing, clothes and textiles – alleviating the labor pressures in Hai'an city and offering golden opportunities for Lueyang's people to achieve prosperity.
