The sixth China Grand Awards for Industry ceremony was held in Beijing, capital city of China, on Dec 27.

A total of 16 companies and 14 projects won a China Grand Award, 12 companies and 21 projects won a China Grand Award of Recognition, and 14 companies and 16 projects won a China Grand Award of Nomination.

ZTT Group, a leading global manufacturer of cable systems based in Rudong county, Nantong, is one of the winners of the China Grand Award. Founded in 1992, ZTT Group has developed into a national key high-tech enterprise and formed a diversified industrial pattern covering communications, power grids, oceans, new energy and new material industries.

Its main products include the latest photoelectric cable products and technologies in China and have been adopted by the major telecom and power operators and widely applied in the fields of radio and television, transport and energy.

Approved by the State Council, the China Grand Award is the highest award in the industry sector in China. The selection of the award is held biennially. All the previous award-winning companies and projects represent the highest level of industrial development in China at that time.

The companies and projects given awards have made breakthroughs in self-innovative technologies, supply chain collaboration, overcoming bottleneck problems, industry upgrades, environmentally-friendly development, and many other areas to promote high-quality development of China's industrial economy.
