Nantong builds knowledge-based workforce team through skills competition

The Nantong Computer Industry Network Administrator Skills Competition, jointly sponsored by the general trade union, the municipal human resources and social security bureau and other relevant departments and organizations in Nantong was held in YLab Space in Chongchuan district on Nov 21.
The competition consisted of two parts – integrative wiring, installation and debugging, and face recognition system debugging. In accordance with relevant national occupational requirements, each part is divided into theoretical knowledge and operational skills. The test questions were drawn from the national item bank by the Nantong vocational skills appraisal center.
A total of 100 contestants from the computer and network industries participated in the competition.
"Holding such a competition is conducive to improving the professional skills and quality of employees in the computer and information industries in Nantong, and to promoting the construction of a knowledge-based, technical and innovative workforce team," said Shen Xiaojing, an official from the Nantong municipal human resources and social security bureau.
