E-commerce dispute resolution mechanism improved in Tongzhou

Knowing that the Singles Day shopping spree was coming, in a bid to protect the rights and interests of consumers and avoid complaints and general chaos after the festival, the Tongzhou district market supervision administration visited Nantong Yunshang Zhaojiafang E-commerce Co Ltd and conducted an investigation, provided instructions on improving its e-commerce dispute resolution mechanism and optimized working modes.

The Zhaojiafang (looking for home textile) platform, under Nantong Yunshang E-commerce, hosts more than 4,000 wholesale enterprises, with a sales network radiating across the whole country.

The relevant departments and the Chuanjiang branch of the district administration notified the company of the recent online transaction complaints received by the 12315 service hotline, sorted out and analyzed the major problems in the complaints such as product quality and delayed delivery and explained the working mechanism and related policies of "handling complaints immediately".

The administration made a proposal that Yunshang E-commerce should standardize online business, improve after-sales service procedures, and strengthen communication and cooperation with the market supervision administration, and try its utmost to meet reasonable requests from consumers.

Tongzhou district has taken multiple measures to standardize online promotion activities during the Singles Day shopping spree, publicized relevant laws and regulations such as the electronic commerce law through interviews and administrative warnings, and provided instructions for enterprises to carry out online promotion legally.
