The Tongzhou branch of State Grid Corporation of China conducted special patrols on four 10kV lines which provide power for the livestream base in the home textile market in Zhinan and Zhibei areas, on Nov 2.

As the Singles Day shopping spree draws near, the Tongzhou branch of State Grid arranged specially-assigned personnel to enter customers' internal distribution rooms for regular and fixed-point inspections that would immediately eliminate any hidden danger and ensure the success of the livestreams during the popular event.

In recent years, e-commerce in Tongzhou district has developed rapidly, and formed a sales system based on home textiles, agricultural products and fitness equipment. In 2019, the e-commerce turnover reached 49 billion yuan ($7.4 billion), a year-on-year growth of 32 percent.

Focusing on customers' needs, the Tongzhou branch goes through power-related matters that impact online services, providing great support for e-commerce business environment optimization.

Nantong Shuosai Textile Co Ltd, located in Zhangzhishan town of Tongzhou district, is mainly engaged in semi-finished textile product processing. Its orders have gone up sharply due to the forthcoming Singles Day. The former capacity of 315 kVA will no longer be able to satisfy production demands and was in urgent need of expansion.

After receiving the application raised by Shuosai via an online channel Tongzhou branch adopted a "1+N" mode in which the customer manager, project manager, designer and other personnel worked together to shorten the necessary expansion period from the original 30 days to the current 15 days.
