Hai'an municipal government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Environmental Protection Group Co Ltd on Sept 2.

As a leading enterprise of the environmental protection industry in Jiangsu province, the group has strong professional advantages in terms of planning, restoration and governance of the ecological environment and provides technological consulting services in that area.

Both parties will carry out all-round and in-depth cooperation in such fields as major environmental infrastructure construction, rural domestic sewage treatment, comprehensive improvement of the ecological environment and environmental protection industry funding to boost Hai'an's ecological civilization construction and high-quality development.

According to Yu Lizhong, mayor of Hai'an, the city will fully support the business development of Jiangsu Environmental Protection Group. It is hoped that the group will give play to its advantages in services, financing and resource integration to provide all-round services for Hai'an in ecological environmental protection.

The two parties also signed an agreement on the second phase project of the sewage treatment plant in the Chang'an Textile Science and Technology Park.
