The opening of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Nantong Railway on July 1 has brought greater convenience to people in Rugao, Nantong, allowing them to travel to Shanghai within two hours.

China Railway's 12306 online ticket-booking platform shows that there are currently 12 trains running from the county-level city to Shanghai each day. The lowest ticket price is 62 yuan ($8.98) per person.
