Mounted art exhibition opens in Nantong

The second Mounted Art Exhibition opened at the Literary and Art Gallery in Nantong on May 13 and will end on May 18, local media reported.
It is part of the 15th May Wind Literature and Art Festival and is hosted by the publicity department of the city's Party committee and the federation of the literary and art circle.
A total of 48 works of painting, calligraphy, paper cutting, tie-dye, carving, and embroidery are on display with a variety of mounting techniques.
"This year's exhibits combine traditional mounting skills with modern elements, showcasing the innovative development of the art form," said Wang Jiangao, chairman of the city's association of mount artists.
