The charming spring scenery along the Tonglv Canal has recently attracted a number of Nantong residents, who have been enjoying the beautiful scenery in the sunshine, while wearing face masks.

Tonglv Canal is a well-known navigation canal and is called "the first canal in Nantong". The city plans to develop another ecological circle surrounding the canal, in addition to the current ecological circle around Haohe River.

The canal is around 21 kilometers long and the scenic area is designed to cover about 500 hectares.

Its northern shore in Gangzha district runs 9.1 km. The landscape belt along the canal integrates the waterway, the embankment and local buildings. Residents can enjoy themselves in the park and the open green land around the canal, and people can rest or relax in small pavilions.

The canal seems a stretching belt, which connects both surrounding sites and residents.
