Nantong Xuan Jiao Bai Nian Textiles Co, based in Tongzhou district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, is working on medical textiles for Leishenshan Hospital, an emergency specialty hospital under construction in Wuhan, Hubei province, in response to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

The company focuses on the production and sales of bedding-related products, such as bed sheets, quilt covers and pillows. It received this emergency order on Feb 2 and started production at once with the help of the local government.

Only a few workers stayed at the company during the recent holidays, and the goods worth over 1 million yuan ($142,560) have to be delivered to Leishenshan Hospital before 10 am Feb 5, which makes it a challenging task for the company.

To finish the order on schedule, Chen Jianjun, general manager of the company, contacted a cooperative partner to solve the problem of a shortage of workers.

"We still have many challenges with delivery after the products are produced, and we are sparing no efforts to deal with the difficulties," said Chen.

Accordingly, a green channel is expected to be opened for the company to handle its financial affairs quickly.
