The Jinglan Tangzha Impression Hotel is located in Tangzha ancient town in Gangzha district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province.
It is less than a 20-minute drive from the Xingdong International Airport, the Nantong Railway Station, and various popular scenic spots, including Langshan Mountain and Haohe River.
The hotel covers an area of 15,000 square meters and features 88 uniquely-styled guest rooms. Its traditional Chinese architecture matches that of the ancient town, transporting visitors to a time long past.
The interior decorations of the hotel combine ancient Chinese and modern styles. In addition to guest rooms, it also includes large and medium-sized meeting rooms, a music bar, and a restaurant.
According to Feng Chun, spokesman for the hotel, the restaurant mainly serves Hangzhou-style dishes and local specialties.
Tangzha ancient town is one of the birthplaces of national industry in modern China. It is here that Zhang Jian, a famous local industrialist and renowned academic, founded China's first large-scale cotton spinning business – the Dasheng Yarn Factory – and formed an industrial cluster by setting up schools, shops, docks, and companies involved in oil extraction, flour milling, and iron and silk production.
