China Tianying (CNTY), an international environmental management company based in Hai'an, Nantong, Jiangsu province, has made about 18 billion yuan ($2.62 billion) in revenue from major businesses, according to Hai'an's development and reform commission.

It is the second industrial enterprise in Hai'an to have over 10 billion yuan in revenue. In 2019, CNTY acquired 100 percent of the shares of Jiangsu Dezhan Investment Co and made initial public offerings at Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

After that, it became the wholly-owned holding company of Urbaser, which is a Spanish company and one of leaders in the world's environmental protection industry.

The overseas merger is expected to bring significant improvements to the enterprise's business performance. It has expanded its markets in 31 countries and regions in Europe, America, Asia and Africa.

At the beginning of September 2018, Hai'an started to implement a plan to encourage major industrial enterprises. Enterprises are guided to promote their development through innovation, talent introduction, brand improvement and high-end cooperation.

Local government also offers targeted policies and services to enterprises to help with their development.
