Painting activity spreads hometown pride in Chongchuan
A "beautiful Nantong" painting activity was held in Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province on Dec 7.
Around 100 elderly residents and students from 10 subdistricts throughout Chongchuan participated in the activity, drawing several of the district's most famous landmarks, including Haohe River, Langshan Mountain, Bell Tower, Gengsu Theater, and more, on a seven-meter-long canvas.
The activity was meant to showcase the vast changes the city has undergone over the past few years and create a sense of pride among locals.
Locals were encouraged to demonstrate their love for their hometown, and students were given the opportunity to learn and contribute to their local community.
