Global Technology Co in Gangzha district, Nantong, Jiangsu province has recently been listed as a "potential unicorn company". It was the only company in the city to receive the honor.

The term "unicorn companies" was initially put forward by Aileen Lee, a venture capitalist, in 2013, to refer to newly established companies that are valued at over $1 billion.

The company focuses on intelligent driving systems based on electronic control technology. It is an integrated high-tech company that engages in research, design, production, sales, and related services. Its driver assistance systems have been highly praised throughout the industry.

Liu Zhaoyong, founder of the company, said that Nantong is attractive to him due to its preferential policies, convenient location, industrial clusters, and modern facilities. He said he believes the company will be able to successfully develop in the city.

The company's integrated center for research, production, and tests is currently under construction in the Shibei High-Tech Park, and it has established a research institute in Shanghai.

The company has attracted a lot of research and development talents and boasted a strong management team. It has a total of 68 patents, more than 30 testing facilities, and over 15 advanced inspection lines.
