Arranging flowers is known as one of the "four arts" of the Song Dynasty (960-1279), with the other three being making tea, burning incense, and hanging paintings.
International students from Bangladesh, Laos, Thailand, and Indonesia arranged flowers along with NCST students. They learned about containers, flower types, and special flower arranging techniques.

"I thought it looked easy when watching the teacher's presentation, but it's actually a lot more difficult than it looks. I felt a sense of achievement when I finally finished," said a student from Laos.
