Gangzha works to modernize logistics
The logistics industry is rapidly developing in Gangzha district, and the number of daily deals in Nantong's integrated logistics industrial park is expected to triple during the upcoming "Double Eleven" online shopping festival.
To date, a total of 386 logistics enterprises have opened in the 10-square kilometer industrial park. The park's sales revenue currently exceeds 8 billion yuan ($1.14 billion), representing a year-on-year increase of 23 percent. This puts it at first place among the city's major service industry clusters in terms of revenue.

In 2017, Linsen Logistics Group, a company in the park, was listed as one of China's first pilot companies to engage in non-truck operations. This change is considered essential to the upgrading of modern logistics.
More than 16,000 orders per month are currently handled on the company's online platform, generating a monthly turnover of 300 million yuan.
The park has become part of a transportation network that includes the Nantong Railway Station, the Nanjing-Nantong Expressway, the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, and North Avenue. It takes only 15 minutes to drive from the park to the Nantong Xingdong International Airport.
To increase informatization within the logistics industry, the park is now working to attract enterprises involved in internet of things, big data, and internet communications.
