An orienteering event which was held in Shibei High-Tech Park in Gangzha district on Sept 24 delighted participants and spectators alike, according to the organizers 

Hosted by Shibei High-Tech Park, the annual orienteering event -- which has been held four times to date -- attracted the participation of local company employees, photographers and journalists. 

Officials said the event's route demonstrated Shibei High-Tech Park's concept of integrated development of industry, city and environment. 

The control points of the orienteering route passed Shibei innovation center which is a comprehensive management service platform for Shibei High-Tech Park. 

They also passed Baoyue Lake innovation community, which is a government-enterprise joint venture in the electronic information industry, Invispower -- an automotive electronics high-tech company focusing on wireless charging technology -- and a sunflower field which is a popular tourist attraction for locals. 

Also, this year's orienteering event added interesting activities at different points along the route. 

The participants walked within the sunflower flower field, enjoyed the fun of orienteering and viewed the changes that have taken place at Shibei High-Tech Park over the past nine years. 

In recent years, Shibei High-Tech Park has been bringing in industries and formed automotive electronics, big data and cloud computing industrial clusters -- with 195 related companies attracted to the park and a series of high-tech projects under construction.
