The Gangzha District Charity Federation and Jiangsu Langshan Wirerope Co, both based in Gangzha district, donated 60,000 yuan ($8,464.74) to 12 undergraduates at a donation ceremony held in Gangzha district on Aug 23. 

Since March 2018, the Gangzha District Charity Association has collected nearly 15 million yuan in donations, established 20 charity funds named after and sponsored by companies, distributed 2.47 million yuan in rescue funds, and helped 2,717 people with financial difficulties.

Jiangsu Langshan Wirerope Co is one of the first companies to raise 1 million yuan in its charity fund. Early in January, the company donated 110,000 yuan to 23 families in need.
