There were stomping feet and flying arms aplently during the Nantong section of the Jiangsu Square Dance Competition, which concluded at the city's gymnasium on Aug 20.

Organizers said a total of 10 teams took part – giving remarkably strong performances – as they competed for a first prize, two second prizes and three third prizes. 

The Chongchuan delegation won the title and will enter the provincial finals on behalf of Nantong city.

The event was organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department, aiming to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
