Biogas power generation beefs up Hai'an’s economy, environment

The 200-Kilowatt distributed biogas power generation project in Dagong town, Hai'an, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province has been successfully integrated into the national public power grid.
The town is dominated by livestock and poultry breeding and companies in the town can produce a large amount of livestock and poultry manure every year. One such company breeds over 10,000 live pigs per year by utilizing existing facilities, advanced equipment, and a distributed management model.
By treating and making use of professional equipment, 24-hour uninterrupted power generation can be achieved, bringing the annual power generation capacity to 900,000 kWh. This will help enterprises and the town achieves high-quality economic and environmental development.
