To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the opening of the local Bonded Logistics Center (B-type), Hai'an, a city in East China's Jiangsu province, held the 2nd Import and Export Commodity Fair at a commerce and trade logistics park on May 18.

Over 260 domestic and foreign merchants brought many import and export products to the fair.

In recent years, Hai'an has been taking advantage of opportunities brought about by the Belt and Road Initiative, the Yangtze Economic Belt, and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. It has established economic and trade relationships with dozens of countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

The trade and logistics industry of Hai'an has achieved impressive development and won several national awards. In addition, the bonded center's total trade value has exceeded 50 million US dollars over the past year. The total value of goods leaving and entering the bonded center has reached 150 million US dollars, while the freight volume has exceeded 40,000 tons.

The fair is expected to provide more convenient and abundant consumption opportunities for Hai'an and its surrounding areas by holding a number of activities and providing opportunities for businesses to access domestic and foreign market information.
