Chongchuan district in Nantong is in urgent need of nursing staff as the government aims to improve senior care services in the area.

A company offered 20 vacancies of nursing attendants at a job fair on March 22, with an annual salary of 40,000 to 60,000 yuan ($8,940) for each position.

The jobs require females aged  55 years old and under, while those under 40 are preferred.

The district has built six daytime nursing centers and 65 home-based nursing stations, covering both rural and urban areas.

More efforts will be made to provide elderly people with daytime care and entertainment activities.
