Wind power R&D center established in Nantong

China’s first research and development center for one-step construction of offshore wind farms was officially inaugurated in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, on March 17.
A group of experts in the field headed by Wang Fuming, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the launch ceremony and held a discussion about the latest in technologies for large-scale construction of offshore wind farms.
The center was set up based on a number of technologies for large-scale construction of offshore wind farms, jointly developed by the Nantong-based Daoda Offshore Wind Power Engineering Technology Company and more than 10 companies and institutes from home and abroad.
