Feng was inspired by the Peking Opera Red Cliff in 2008 to create the photo series. Feng said that it was his first time to watch traditional Peking Opera and he was impressed by the story, performance, costume, characters, and music.

Therefore, he wanted to record the beauty with photography, according to the artist. It took him nine years to complete the series and top-notch Peking Opera performers were invited to model for him.

The exhibition will last for two months, during which Wang Peiyu, national first-class performer, will be invited to interact with exhibition-goers.
