A lecture on sleep hygiene was delivered in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on March 15, to mark World Sleep Day, which falls on March 21 each year.
Cheng Shisheng, a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, explained some of the most common sleep problems and gave his suggestions on how to enjoy more restful sleep.
If work-related stress is keeping a person awake, then he or she needs to find the time to unwind before bedtime, advised Cheng.
During the activity, Cheng demonstrated how to make pillows filled with Chinese medicine, which are believed to be beneficial in relaxing the body and mind.
