Rugao, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently held a conference for the city's entrepreneurs.

Government officials attending the event included Zhang Jianhua, Party chief of Rugao, and He Yijun, mayor of the city.

At the conference, local entrepreneurs discussed their businesses, development, innovation achievements and plans to upgrade industries. He Yijun, who presided over the meeting in his capacity as mayor, listened to their views and sought their advice on future policies that could help promote a business-friendly environment in the city.  

In addition, Zhang outlined the government's plans to help tackle obstacles faced by companies, and promised that the government would work on providing faster and more efficient business services.
