Giant redwood carving being made in Hai’an
A craftsman carves a giant redwood on the shop floor of Yuanhong Redwood Carving Museum in Hai'an, a city in East China's Jangsu province on Jan 24. The giant redwood is being carved to recreate one of the 10 most famous ancient Chinese paintings, Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, which has long been acclaimed as one of China's top artistic pieces and was created by the famed painter Zhang Zeduan during the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127).
