Gangzha district in Nantong city identified 59 national high-tech firms in 2018, representing a net increase of 24 compared to that of 2017, with the total number of local high-tech companies hitting 110 –– the first time the figure has exceeded 100.

The science and technology bureau of Gangzha district plans to continue encouraging high-tech companies to invest in research and development, as well as furthering the creation and protection of intellectual property rights in 2019. In the long term, the bureau hopes to cultivate innovation-driven industrial clusters across the district.
