The Gangzha district of Nantong is set to promote its advanced electronic information, intelligent equipment, and tourism industries during 2019. 

In the electronic information industry, Gangzha will focus on integrated circuits and intelligent driving. With the expert guidance of equity investment platforms, such as Tiansheng Industrial Development Foundation and Tongke IC Industrial Foundation, the district will promote a series of high-tech projects, including new ventures by ACCESS Semiconductor and Tsinghua Holdings –– speeding the creation of a new industrial chain which will allow the development of two 10-billion-yuan industrial sectors over the next three to five years.

For its intelligent equipment sector, the district plans to develop an equipment industrial park. Through the new Sino-Japanese partnerships, Gangzha will introduce advanced equipment manufacturing and supporting facilities for marine engineering and intelligent robotics projects from Japan.

In addition, the district plans to put itself on the map as a tourist destination –– by introducing new tourism projects and building new infrastructure to connect current tourist attractions. It also plans to double the number of visitors and tourism revenues this year.
