The 2018 Rugao Economic Conference, the China Longevity Culture Festival and the China (Rugao) Flower and Bonsai Art Festival opened on September 28, attracting merchants, overseas Chinese and famous enterprise leaders from the United States, France and many countries and regions across the world to Rugao, Nantong, Jiangsu province.

Seventy-five investment intentions and agreements were signed in Rugao, among which 62 were domestic projects with a total investment value of 76.91 billion yuan ($ 11.1 billion) and eight were foreign funded projects with an investment of $ 899 million.
