Twenty four moral models were selected in June as Jiangsu provincial people known for good deeds. Wang Yanwen, the director of the provincial publicity department, Xu Huimin, acting mayor of Nantong and national moral model Wu Jinquan jointly unveiled the awards list.

According to official statistics, in recent years, 297 people have been nominated and awarded as Jiangsu provincial moral models, and more than 2,000 people (in groups) selected as national and provincial citizens known for good deeds. Cities in Jiangsu province are creating an atmosphere of learning from moral models and working on building civilized behavior.
