A picture exhibition themed "the spirit of desertification control" was recently held at the Rugao Industrial Park in Rucheng Street, Rugao, East China’s Jiangsu province.

There were more than 400 precious pictures divided into seven parts and 44 panels. The photos restored the spirit of Rugao's efforts on sand control of those years. They not only allowed visitors to relive the heroic deeds of the Rugao people who fought for heaven and earth, but also inherited and carried forward their traditional revolutionary spirit.

Liu Xiangyang, secretary of the Party working committee of Rugao Industrial Park, attended the exhibition.

He pointed out that in facing the requirement of the new era it is necessary to show courage and determination to overcome difficulties and act with one heart and one mind, forging ahead with reform and daring to promote high-quality economic and social development under the new normal.
