Nantong's Hai'an in Jiangsu province held a promotion event for Cultural and Natural Heritage Day at Hai'an culture and art center on June 9.

The promotion campaign was aimed at publicizing Hai'an's local intangible cultural heritage as well as its cultural and tourism industries.

The promotion event was divided into six parts: Hai'an paper-cutting and intangible cultural heritage exhibitions in schools, free health consultations offered by doctors of Hai'an traditional Chinese medical hospital, a lecture on health knowledge, a tie-dyed clothing exhibition, an on-site exhibition of alcoholic beverages as an intangible cultural heritage, and an exclusive interview with famous Chinese medical experts.

As part of the event, paper-cutting inheritors held special exhibitions in schools, attracting more than 100 students and parents, senior-citizen students of the Hai’an culture and art center learned about traditional Chinese medicine by observing its traditional skills and a taste of traditional wines made people further appreciate their positive effect on health.
